We entusiastically announce the addition of a new line of CAP*ROCK RESERVE WINES in strikingly re-designed packages with introductions beginning in the spiring of 1999. Our first dessert wine, the 1998 ORANGE MUSCAT in 500ml bottles, will enter the market in late May. This rich, sweet and lush wine was chosen by Werner Butz, owner of Wines of America, for distribution in Switzerland after tasting a sample before the wine was even bottled.
This will be followed by the 1998 CAP*ROCK ROSE, a totally dry, French style rose and the 1996 TUSCAN BLEND made from Sangiovese and Barbera, both wines in limited production. In the fall of 1999, the 1997 CAP*ROCK RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON, NEWSOM VINYARD, will be released. It is one of the finest red wines ever produced in Texas and will stand up to many of California's better Cabernets. Spring will also bring the release of the 1997 CAP*ROCK MERLOT in Tier II. The previous vintage sold out quickly and is still being requested.
The comment from everyone who tasted barrel samples was, "When can I get it?" This one is a winner!
