From its introduction in July 1992 until the present, Cap*Rock Winery's sales grew faster than any other Texas Winery in the industry's history

The introduction of Cap*Rock's new line of Tier I Reserve Wines into the Texas market has been a resounding success.  Several buyers in fine wine shops and restaurants around the state, after tasting the 1996 Toscana Rosso (a red Tuscan style blend of Sangiovese, Barbera, and Cabernet), have stated that in a blind tasting they would have identified it as an Italian-made wine.  The 1998 Toscana Rosa, a dry full-flavored Italian style rose served well chilled, is refreshing in the Texas heat and with Italian and Southwestern dishes.

"Cap*Rock Reserve Wines have taken Texas wines to a new, high level of quality."

The 1997 Reserve Cabernet and the 1998 Orange Muscat (a luscious, fortified dessert wine), both Newsom Vineyards, are now available in several of the state's best wine shops and restaurants.  The comment heard over and over is, "Cap*Rock Reserve Wines have taken Texas wines to a new, high level of quality."  It is meant as a compliment when people say, "I can't believe these wines were made in Texas."  Well, we'll take that compliment and proudly say, "Thanks!"  When the average consumer (which is most of us) and the experts agree, it must be true!  Ask for Cap*Rock Reserve Wines at your favorite retail stores and restaurants.
