Cap*Rock Officially Opens Grapevine Winery

Wine, food and fun was the scene at Cap*Rock Winery's Grapevine Tasting Room Grand Opening held on March 2, 1999. Although the tasting room actually opened to the public on September 8, 1998, activities surrounding Grapefest and the holiday season postponed the official opening.      Over 150 friends and well wishers attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and the presentation of the key to the city. Special guests included Edie Gillette, Director of Member Services for the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, P.W. McCallum, Executive Director for the Grapevine Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and area merchants.      With delicate, appetizing delights provided by Personal Chef Catering and plenty of our award-winning Cap*Rock wines, a typical hum-drum Tuesday was turned into an evening of festivity.
