Cap*Rock Winery is the perfect venue for your event. In order to assure your special day turns out perfect we do require all events to abide by our Rules and Regulations.
The rules and regulations are as follows:
- The rental of Cap*Rock Winery includes; the tasting room, barrel banquet room, outdoor patio, men’s & women’s restrooms, Bridal Suite, and one additional room for the wedding party or storage. All other areas of Cap*Rock Winery are off limits.
- Cap*Rock Winery is available to rent Monday through Saturday 5:30pm to 11:30pm and Sunday 12pm to 10pm. These hours are subject to change depending on the date and time of the year.
- All events must use one of Cap*Rock Winery’s Approved Caterers. There is a $50.00 kitchen rental fee due at the time of the facility rental. This fee is charged to the responsible party not to the caterer. The approved Caterers are;

- To opt out of using Cap*Rock’s Approved Caterers events may pay $250.00. This allows events to bring in other Catering then the caterers approved by Cap*Rock and allows the use of the kitchen. Events must agree and sign the Outside Catering Rules and Regulations/ Agreement.
- Events may choose three wines from the Cap*Rock Winery wine list to be served, excluding the Reserve Cabernet. Cap*Rock Winery’s wine list may change throughout the year and Cap*Rock Winery does not guarantee your wine selection will be available. Cap*Rock Winery reserves the right to change any wine selection.
- Facility rentals do not include wine tastings or tours during the event. Your wine selection will be poured by the glass for your guests. Wine tasting and facility tours are only given during regular tasting room hours.
- No other alcohol besides the wine Cap*Rock Winery provides is allowed on the property of Cap*Rock Winery. Any other alcohol on the property of Cap*Rock Winery other then the wine Cap*Rock Winery provides is against TABC laws. Cap*Rock Winery has a zero tolerance policy regarding this rule and will shut down any event that breaches this rule.
- No alcohol will be served to or consumed by any person under 21 years of age. The bar will be closed immediately if the winery staff observes guests that appear intoxicated. Cap*Rock Winery staff reserves the right to refuse to serve any event guest.
- Wine will be poured by Cap*Rock Winery Staff behind the bar between the hours of your event stated on the contract with last call 15 minutes prior to the end of the event.
- All facility rentals gain access to Cap*Rock Winery on the date of the event after 12pm. This time is for you to do any extra decorating and organizing. This is not your event time and guests are not allowed to arrive at Cap*Rock Winery until your event starts. Remember Cap*Rock Winery’s normal Tasting Room Hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm. Between these hours there will be wine tastings, tours, and other things going on.
- All functions are given 30 minutes for tear down and clean up. The winery must be cleaned, parking lot cleared, and the winery gates secured by these times. For example, if your event is from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm your guests are required to leave by 10:00 pm and the facility must be locked by 10:30 pm.
- All functions are responsible for tearing down and cleaning up anything that was not provided by Cap*Rock Winery. This includes but is not limited to; center pieces, table decorations, flowers, plates, napkins, food items, etc…
- A 50% facility rental deposit and a $200.00 refundable security deposit is required to reserve a date; all facility rental deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation. Reservations are NOT guaranteed until receipt of deposit. The remaining balance of the facility rental fee is due 30 days prior to the date of the event unless other arrangements have been made and stated in the contract with a Cap*Rock Winery Manager. Cap*Rock Winery reserves the right to cancel any event for non-payment.
- The $200.00 security deposit will be voided after your event is completed if there are no damages to Cap*Rock Winery or to Cap*Rock Winery’s property and if there was no breach in the Rules and Regulations or the Outside Catering Rules and Regulations.
- Any damages to the winery or its property will be the financial responsibility of the event representative or person whose signature is on the contract.
- Photographs are allowed during events. Wedding photographs are allowed during normal business hours but you must make an appointment with a Cap*Rock Winery Manager.
- Cap*Rock Winery is a Non-Smoking facility. Guests may smoke outside of the winery.
- Weddings booked at Cap*Rock Winery do not include extra time and/or days for the wedding rehearsal. Separate arrangements for a rehearsal must be made when booking your wedding.
- Decorations are welcome, however no confetti, rice, or glitter of any kind is allowed. Birdseed may be used outside of the winery.
- The banquet barrel room has a built in sound system that comes with all rentals. The sound system can play CDs and IPods. All patrons using the sound system must be assisted by a Cap*Rock Winery staff member. The tasting room and outdoor patio do not include a sound system.
- Events that have rented the HD Projection Screen are not allowed to operate the screen until a Cap*Rock Winery staff member has given them instructions. Events are responsible for any damages to the screen, projector, or any other equipment.
